There are people in Tampa who are so underemployed that having enough food for themselves or their families is not easy to come by. We find this to be unacceptable, so we've committed to help change it. That's why we have partnered with Faith Cafe.
The mission of Faith Cafe is to serve our neighbors in need with dignity and respect as Jesus serves, offering food and referral to other organizations. We serve a lunchtime meal Monday through Saturday at 1340 North Clearview Avenue. Faith Café also has a clothing closet that provides free clothing and toiletries to our guests. The meal is provided by Metropolitan Ministries and donations from our partner churches.
Logos Dei has partnered with the ministry of Faith Cafe and is committed to serving every 5th Saturday throughout the year.
